How to Become a Christian You are not reading this by accident. God has brought you to this place to give you the opportunity of receiving eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ. Up to now your sin has separated you from God. The Bible says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 6:23) You cannot be good enough, do enough or work hard enough to remedy your condition. But again the Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). God is speaking to you right now, inviting you to accept Jesus as your Savior and the master of your life. If it is your sincere desire to ask Jesus into your life then talk to him from your heart. You might pray something like this: “Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life. But I believe You died and rose from the grave to make it possible for me to go to Heaven. Jesus, come into my life and take control. Forgive my sins and rescue me from hell. I place my trust in You alone and I accept your gift of eternal life.” If you have trusted Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, please let us know. We want to rejoice in what God has done in your life. And we can help you grow spiritually. If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
